Following the wave of disappointing news that struck Good Vibrations revelers yesterday detailing that both fan favourites Friendly Fires and festival headliners The Killers had bowed out (though the Killers will still make the trip for week two of the festival apparently) of the touring party event due to ‘family emergencies’, Good Vibes organisers Jam Music have been quick to act, this morning issuing a statement about festival tickets and now revealing that beloved local party starters Bluejuice would be joining the lineup.
Speaking to MusicFeeds today, the Bluejuice boys confirmed their involvement in the festival, though at this stage it’s not clear if they’re replacing one of the two bands, or just being brought in to bolster the lineup. The latter seems likely, taking into account the profile of other artists on the lineup and their potential stand-in headliner abilities, and not to mention that part of the Friendly Fires outfit will still make the journey to play some eclectic DJ sets at each festival.
New set times for Sydney and Perth have now been announced, with Basement Jaxx stepping up to fill the headline spot (and rightly so!) You can check them out here:
