Things have been markedly quiet on the Musica front of late, so imagine our surprise when we heard the party was set to return on a much bigger – and better! – scale than ever before this April. Proudly supported by inthemix, the Musica relaunch will see three of electronic music’s most interesting names, alongside the newly named residents for the party series.

Topping the bill it’s South America’s patron saint of all things dance music, Hernan Cattaneo. Not to be outdone, he’ll be joined by the one and only Apparat, who is set to play an extremely exclusive live set (one of only a few he’s agree to do this year!) Finally, Marc Marzenit of Spain – who has released music on Bedrock and Cocoon – will also appear. Joining the bill of international talent, local residents for Musica include Simon Caldwell of the Mad Racket posse, and longtime Sydney house music stalwart Alex Taylor.

The whole thing goes down at The Forum in Sydney on Saturday April 24th. First release tickets will be onsale on ITM this Thursday February 25th from 9am for $55+bf. Get in quick as they’re strictly limited and won’t last long. Also keep your eyes glued for an exclusive major promotion inthemix is running with Musica – it’ll hit your inbox early next week (if you’re not an ITM subscriber head here to join up!)
