It’s the weekend dance fans around Australia have been eagerly anticipating for months; the start of the 2010 Future Music Festival tour! The first two stops on the FMF train are Brisbane and Perth, and considering some of the wild and woolly weather we’ve had this festival season we thought it’d be a good idea to take a look at the forecast so you can be nicely prepared for the day ahead.

Brisbane – On Saturday the outlook is for passing showers throughout the day. While it’ll be mostly cloudy up above, the temperatures will still be relatively high climbing to around 28 degrees. Pack your poncho just in case!

Perth – The warm weather experienced at Good Vibrations a few weeks ago looks set to continue for the WA festival fans, with the outlook in Perth this Sunday warm and sunny. Temps are expected to reach into the mid 30s though, so make sure you keep hydrated and lathered in suncream.

inthemix.tv will be on the ground in Brisbane filming all the action, so make sure you check back to the site next week to see what went down. We’ll also have our first photo galleries going online before the weekend is through, so you know where to come to see all the hottest shots from the festival once the party is through.

Set times and venue maps for all Future Music Festival dates were released a few days back and you can check them out on our inthemix festival page now. While you’re at it be sure to take in all the latest news and info, interviews, DJ mixes, videos and more.

Forecast according to Weather.com.au, as at 2pm on Friday February 26th, 2010.

BRISBANE was a MUD-SLUSH washout... except for the LIVE band insurance woes & some outright no-plays, at least the shows went on - even if only with playback!! ;)
