Irish deep house mover John Daly arrives in Australia this month for his first-ever club circuit; bringing some warmth to the dancefloors of Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
Daly has amassed a solid repertoire of 12-inches, most prolifically on François K’s Wave imprint and Swiss tastemakers Drumpoet. The man’s artist album from last year, Sea & Sky, brought it all together in a considered flow of disco, house and wrap-around techno. His DJ sets follow the same direction, and at the CO-OP gig in Sydney he’ll have four hours to stretch out. Daly is the latest top-shelf guest to play the burgeoning party, and the Civic sound-system is sure to do him justice.
