Minimal maestro Dominik Eulberg has been forced to cancel his upcoming Australian jaunt due to health reasons. The man was set to play under the Kompakt 3 banner with compatriot Tobias Becker, but is now on doctor’s orders not to perform any shows in the near future.
Eulberg offered the following statement: “Dear friends of music and nature down under, I really was looking forward to my tour through your wonderful country, meeting all the interesting people who already were waiting for me, visiting the zoo in Sydney and exploring your fantastic wild life. But unfortunately bad problems with my ears put a spoke in my wheel and I have to inform you, that I sadly had to cancel the tour!
“It’s a very hard time for me now and the most important thing at the moment is to see how to recover my health. I’m really sorry for all my friends who waited so warm-heartedly for me. The good thing is that I will catch up my gigs towards the end of the year! See you then!”
Due to Eulberg’s cancellation, promoters have decided the original Kompakt 3 tour cannot go ahead as planned. Tdmuzic will turn the Brisbane show on Saturday 20 March into a celebration of local talent of similar ilk, performing under the banner ‘Kompakt-esk’.
