April is shaping up to be a month of exciting club events, with the Easter long weekend setting the tone. Having already brought us the likes of Charlie May, Henry Saiz and Jim Rivers in 2010, touring guns TigerStyle have a full slate for April.
As previously announced, UK veteran Darren Emerson is spending the long weekend here, and he has added an intimate gig at Academy in Canberra. After thoroughly impressing on his last visit, techno crusder Fergie will also be here for some dark and heady sessions in the first half of the month.
Set to play the música relaunch in Sydney, the ever-innovative Apparat will also take his live set to Melbourne. In the last decade, the man has turned in definitive albums as a solo producer, alongside fellow Bpitcher Ellen Allien and most recently as part of Moderat; so expect great things.
Also here in late-April are two of the shining lights of the Cocoon stable, Marc Marzenit and Chymera (both of whom Sven Väth thrashed on his Future Music Festival tour). Last but not least, French house whiz Arno Cost will join the international invasion.
