Throughout 2010, Brisbane’s fast-rising star tyDi will lead a series of Global Soundsystem tours around Australia. The producer recently launched the Global Soundsystem radio show in his hometown, and it has quickly become the most downloaded Australian DJ podcast on iTunes. The next step is to take the sounds to the clubs.

For this circuit in April/May, tyDi will be joined by another burgeoning trance talent. UK young gun Ashley Wallbridge made himself known in 2009 with two back-to-back hits; his collaboration with Andy Moor on Faces and the high-charting Chimera. With a debut album in the works for October, Wallbridge will be working with his Armada lablemate tyDi on a Global Soundsystem Anthem when he gets here.

Global Soundsystem makes these stops in April/May, led by tyDi and Ashley Wallbridge.

Fri Apr 30 – Base, Magnetic Island
Sat May 1 – Creamfields, Sydney
Sun May 2 – Heritage, Cairns
Mon May 3 – Creamfields, Brisbane
Thurs May 6 – Bohemes, Hamilton Island
Fri May 7 – Rise, Perth
Sat May 8 – Creamfields, Melbourne
Fri May 14 – UC Refectory, Canberra
Sat May 15 – Bedroom, Gold Coast

I'm so over these huge festivals, can't they simply organize a gig in one of the many clubs in Sydney (preferably not at HOME because I'm not sure what's worse- a festival or that overcrowded place)? The festivals are always trying to cater for far too di

Well said Chemo, festivals are becoming too frequent and over run with too many self important f@#kwits and wankers. Bring back the old club gigs, where the Dj gets to play a decent 3hr set and everyone is there for the same reasons.

So true Chemo/Matzta couldn't agree with you more.. I only go to club events nowdays and have given the big festivals the boot for similar reasons as to what you say. I've enjoyed myself much more at the club events by miles ... another added bonus - sav

tyDi should be warming up for Ashley Wallbridge as Ashley is far more talented than tyDi.
