Techno’s masked enigma Redshape will make his virgin voyage to Australia this autumn for a round of club shows. The man is set to introduce us to his live set, which draws on an ever-widening catalogue of deep and moody productions.
Making himself known around 2006, Redshape gradually showed himself to be a formidable talent. Tracks like Unfinished Symmetry and Alone On Mars? were his calling card to notoreity, with a long list of techno heavyweights championing him. Last year he consolidated his position with a fine album, The Dance Paradox, on Dutch imprint Delsin. This is sure to be one of those talked-about tours, so don’t sleep on it.
