San Francisco’s home of quirky, bass-drenched house music dirtybird is five years old in 2010. To mark its milestone, the label is releasing a very special three-CD set in April, with classics on one disc, future bangers on another and a five-year retrospective mix by dirtybird’s star producer Justin Martin.

The celebrations won’t stop there, though. According to his MySpace, Martin is set to lead the Australian leg of the fifth birthday tour in April/May. He’s joined by “the underestimated dirtybird” Worthy, whose bumping, party-ready sound has found a natural fit amongst Claude VonStroke’s clan.

Stay tuned to inthemix for more details on the dirtybird 5th birthday tour with Justin Martin, Worthy and Emerson Todd. In the meantime, check out the video from the massive anniversary party in the label’s hometown.
