As expected, Splendour In The Grass has gone all out on its tenth anniversary line-up (catch all the action from last year with our Best of Splendour ‘09 special), with the dance tent set to feature some major stars. The winter festival will stretch across three days at its new digs in Woodford, so there’s even more time and space to take it all in.

Fans will be rejoicing at the news that LCD Soundsystem will bring its dazzling live show to Queensland, fresh from the release of new album The Happening. With James Murphy in fine form as frontman at Big Day Out a few years back, we’re sure to be in for another treat. Also making the trip is UK geek-chic outfit Hot Chip (whose new album One Life Stand contains some ecstatic festival anthems), recent BDO stars Passion Pit, Brooklyn psych-dance freaks Yeasayer and those kings and queens of disco-pop Scissor Sisters. Naturally there’s a cavalcade of indie and rock acts, and to navigate it all we’ve put together a handy Splendour Survival guide, with the best dance acts mixed in with our picks for the other acts worth your time. Check that out here and then feast your eyes on the extensive list below!
