Already claiming the local tour lives of Australia-bound international DJs like Agoria and Redshape, the all-destroying volcanic ash currently drifting over European skies has taken another victim, this time with the joint tour of electro dudes Strip Steve and Das Glow.

Announced in a statement by tour promoters Future Entertainment overnight, the duo will be unable to fly out from Europe to take part in their two-week tour of Australia, disassembling any plans to cut loose with some bangers this long weekend. Total bummer.

Whilst electro fans will rightly be disappointed at the news of the tour’s cancellation, Future offered a distant ray of hope, confirming that the double-header tour would be rescheduled for later in 2010.

Cancelled Strip Steve & Das Glow dates:

April 22nd – Monastery, Brisbane
April 23rd – Home Nightclub, Sydney
April 24th – National Gallery Sculpture Garden, Canberra
April 24th – Yellow, Melbourne
April 25th – Secret Sundays, Newcastle
April 25th – Grand Hotel, Wollongong
April 30th – La La Land, Byron Bay

Well Neverland are seemingly in denial. Yellow are deleting any mention of this show being cancelled from their facebook. Looks like they are going to go ahead without telling any one. Poor form.
