With 4,000 people petitioning on Facebook to revive former Sydney mainstay Kink, the party’s ringleader Scott Robertson has set the wheels in motion. Kink is set to return to its old stomping ground of Arthouse Hotel for a one-off party on Saturday 19 June, bringing all the favourite residents along for the ride.
The main room will be led by Ben Morris, who built up a reputation at the club that often saw him eclipsing the international guests. The Broken-N-Beats side-room is also set to crank with familiar faces like The Jackal vs. D-Tech MC, James Taylor and Frenzie.
Scott told inthemix today that he’s both humbled and excited by the groundswell of support. “Does this make me think there is a gap in the market for Kink to return to the weekly club scene?” he mused. “In all honesty, no. Will this be the last we see of Kink? Probably not.”
Check out the line-up below, and stay tuned for presale tickets on inthemix.
