Amon Vision is Perth’s newest trance night that will give trance lovers another home to party away from it’s traditional home at Rise. Amon Vision will be a monthly night to celebrate the record label of the same name which has risen to become Australia’s top trance label with over half of its releases being played on Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show.

Helmed by stalwart DJ GeRmAn, who says his aims are “to build the trance scene in Perth as there hasn’t been a regular trance night since other then the Rise since the Church closed down and there’s a lot of trance lovers out there just waiting for a new home.”

Starting out as a monthly event showcasing local talent, they will progress to building the live brand and hopefully to gain some more exposure to bring down artists from the label and abroad.

The local monthly nights will be held upstairs at Bar Open with aspirations to put on a show at Villa for international guests. the first show takes place on Friday the 28th of May and the lineup includes Jackson & Perry, Travis Eddy, Symbiosis (Mike Dub & Joe Benger). Jay Vincente, Gary Watson, DJ Oky, DJ Steve RG and GeRmAn.

haha GeRmAn & Jackson & Perry links are linked to some weird bands. Funny that guy has the exact same alias as I do, including caps. Amon Vision was never affiliated with the Rise, Oh well at least its exposure.

err, Bar Open is pretty decent if you've ever bothered to check it out ;) Will be a great new night, and a promising platform for local talent, looking forward to it!
