Last month, inthemix broke the news that local trance flagship Airport would take off again in July. Captaining the tour is UK sensation Simon Patterson, who has proven to be a formidable talent on past visits, most recently for Trance Energy in 2009. He’s joined by Rotterdam’s multi-tasker Sied van Riel and our own Trent McDermott.
The stops for the early-July tour have now been revealed, including a warehouse session in Brisbane. In the lead-up to these shows, the new Airport CD compilation arrives on 19 June through 405 Recordings, mixed by van Riel and McDermott. 2010 has already delivered a high calibre of trance tours, and this looks to be another high-point of the year.
Simon Patterson, Sied Van Riel and Trent McDermott bring Airport to these venues.
Friday 2 July – Billboard The Venue, Melbourne
Saturday 3 July – Secret Warehouse, Brisbane [day show, Trent McDermott not appearing]
Saturday 3 July – Gaelic Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 10 July – Rise, Perth
Sunday 11 July – HQ, Adelaide
