Here’s a bombshell for hip hop fans: all the original members of pioneering hip hop crew A Tribe Called Quest will play two shows here in August. The landmark tour coincides with the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album, People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. ATCQ has agreed to a select number of shows around the globe to mark the occasion, and the Southern Hemisphere will be part of the honours for the first time ever. Expect a career-spanning set from an act that can truly claim the title ‘legendary’.

Wednesday 11 August – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
Thursday 12 August – Festival Hall, Melbourne (all ages)
