If you thought Godskitchen’s ‘Boombox’ tour of 2009 broke new ground, you’ve got another thing coming… as in 2010 Godskitchen will once again hit Australian shores, and this time they’re stepping things up a notch. Strap yourself in and don the 3D glasses, because things are going to get a little crazy for the Godskitchen fans in Sydney and Melbourne this October!
As revealed on inthemix recently, the 2010 Australian tour will be headlined by some of the trance scene’s most exciting names; Andy Moor, John O’Callaghan, Marcel Woods and Wippenberg. What’s more, Jon O’Bir will also join the party in Melbourne and Perth, while Binary Finary have also jumped onboard for Melbourne. With the musical side of things taken care of, that’s left our mind to wander when it comes to production. How exactly is this 3D thing going to work?
“By putting on 3D glasses revellers will be thrust into a supersonic world of wonder, one where the music literally comes alive and allows them to reach out, feel it and touch it,” expounds the Future Entertainment press release. “Bring your own 3D glasses or grab your Godskitchen souvenir glasses on the night.”
It’s not the first time the 3D concept has been seen at an Australian dance event, with Slinky having hosted their own party in Melbourne earlier this year. However Godskitchen 3D is sure to be the first time it’s happened in an arena environment, so it’s likely to be one for the history books.
