There’s no denying that 2010 has been a pretty bumper year for Australian trance fans. In between some major Australian shows featuring everyone from Ferry Corsten to Gareth Emery and Simon Patterson, we’ve received some massive records including Sied Van Riel and Trent McDermott’s latest Airport outing and Markus Schulz’s praised Do You Dream?. Perhaps biggest amongst that list this year was the return of the In Search Of Sunrise series, previously manned by Tiesto. Picking up the pieces all by himself, Dutch clubber Richard Durand came through and guided In Search Of Sunrise 8: South Africa back to its previous high-standing and now he’s bringing the party down to Australia.

As previously reported by inthemix, Durand has been working on bringing the feel and energy of ISOS8 – which ITM’s David_Chang described as “a new sunrise and it tingles the skin in all the right places” in our review – to local audiences in September, and now it’s our proud honour to unveil those Australian tour dates.

Brought to us by KillRockstar Entertainment and BigDog – the crew that’s made Airport into a force on the local dance scene – Richard Durand will storm through the country on the In Search Of Sunrise Australian tour this September, winding around the country for five massive dates.

Keeping the Dutchman company on this epic trek will be fellow firestarters Trent McDermott and also Jonas Stenberg who’ll be touching down from Sweden to join in the fun.
