From humble beginnings for years as Canberra’s first summer music festival, Foreshore has morphed into a nationally-recognised event, and this is showing in their insane international lineup, coming Saturday 27 November.

Kicks Entertainment released their first round of acts this morning, starring the word’s biggest dance artist and Dutch superstar – Tiesto! Who would have thought? Tiesto, who sold out his Kaleidoscope tour worldwide last year, would come to a lil’ Canberra festival? Foreshore sure has come a long way since its birth in 2007 headlining Melbourne oddball, Muscles...

Wanna know who else is playing? Calvin Harris! The guy stole the show at the Big Day Out earlier this year and now Kicks have bailed him up to perform Acceptable in the ‘80s to our fair festival-goers, who were mostly born in the ‘90s.

Cut Copy obviously missed us, because they’re back after two years away from Canberra. They’ve got a brand new album on the way that we’ll get to hear first, featuring their new single Where I’m Going.

Would you say you’ve got enough Satisfaction? We don’t have enough chicks in bikinis using power tools, that’s for sure. Grammy Award winner Benni Benassi will solve our problems. I think we can safely assume an epic reaction when he drops that tune, not to mention this year’s radio hit Spaceship.

Everybody Pon De Floor because next in our superstar blowout it Diplo and Switch’s collaboration, Major Lazer. And, while we’re on the subject of some of the world’s most in-demand remixers – Afrojack, who has been doing some amazing stuff with David Guetta will also be at Foreshore 2010.

Still not enough? How about we go to the Magic Fountain with amazing Aussies Art vs Science, who would rather speak French than Americano with fellow young band who have seen huge radio success over the past year, *Yolanda Be Coo*l. Or get low and dirty with dubstep massif Caspa and MC Rod Azlan.

Let’s wrap this up before our heads explode, and I run out of ridiculous puns. Ibiza resident and world-renowned techno king, Luciano is shaking his, quite frankly, beautiful Latino ass our way. Ladies, present. Foreshore faves Miami horror are making their way back to the ‘berra for the frst time since their new album is released. The Only will bring their Only F*cking Rave Party our way. Brisbane duo and lovers of thy partying, Stafford Brothers, will be there too, and so will Aussie remixer and producer – maker of that Friday Night anthem we hear all the time – Cassian.
