It’s been a long and neon-lit road for Melbourne-based synth lads Miami Horror, graduating from a one-man electro project into the festival-conquering live act that’s operating today. The next chapter of Miami Horror’s evolution now comes at last with the band’s debut album, Illumination, which is at last set for release on EMI on August 20th.

Already shaping up as one of the most anticipated releases of 2010 amongst ITMers, we’ve now been given a first look at what fans can expect from the record.

As well as the album’s full tracklisting and album artwork seen above, it’s now emerged that the Miami Horror crew had some extra hands in the studio with the likes of Kimbra and Alan Palomo of Neon Indian notoriety contributing to the recording process.

Word is also out that those music lovers who pre-order Illumination will receive a bumper 2CD edition of the album, full o’ big remixes from the likes of Fred Falke, Treasure Fingers, Sam La More and Shazam. Good stuff!
