It’s only a matter of weeks now before history is made with A Tribe Called Quest’s first-ever Australian tour. While fans mull over what set-list we can expect from the hip hop icons, Niche Productions has added a few extra touches to the shows.
How’s this for some good news: the inimitable Kool Keith is supporting in Melbourne. The man-of-many-guises is here for a string of solo shows in August, and he’s kindly added this slot to his itinerary. In Sydney, warm-up honours go to Elefant Traks stars Horrorshow and local boys Thundamentals. As previously announced, De La Soul’s DJ Maseo will be at both dates to keep the good times rolling.
