If you frequent the Melbourne forum on inthemix, there’s a good chance you’ve marvelled at the list of acts set to ‘go bush’ for the Strawberry Fields festival in November. The three-day camp-out boasts an impressive line-up from across the musical spectrum, with the promise of ‘crystal clear state-of-the-art sound’ to do them all justice.

One look at the roll-call of names below should give an indication that this will be a very special weekend in the open air. If techno is your bag, there’s plenty on that front – from Kompakt’s secret weapon Tobias Thomas to celebrated producer Vince Watson and plenty in between. There are also prime pickings on the psytrance and electronica tip, with the promise of ‘many more’ locals and international acts to be announced.
