2010 is a pretty big deal around here at ITM HQ because as you might recall it’s the 10th birthday of inthemix this year. As well as throwing parties and embarrassing ourselves in front of family members, we’ve also gone on a little nostalgic trip and cast our eyes over the past 10 years in the dance music world.

That came together last week when ITM unveiled its second ever contributors poll, asking the fine men and women that keep the wheels turning to vote on their favourite records from the last decade.

As incredibly gruelling a task as that may be, the ITM contributor massive got stuck in with aplomb, riffling through their record collection to pick out their favourites and whittle that down to a choice few standouts.

With Pt.1 of the poll, we already ticked off some very big records from the likes of The Presets, Deadmau5 and Gui Boratto, so the final 25-1 countdown should be even more nail-biting.
