If you’re planning to party into 2011 with the world’s number #1 DJ, mark Monday 6 September in your diary/iPhone/Rolodex. That’s the day that tickets go on sale at 9am for what’s being touted as the ‘biggest NYE gig on the planet’, Armin Only. That’s also when Future Entertainment will reveal the venue for the nine-hour concert.
As fans will already know back to front, the Armin Only extravaganza sees the man joined by a cast of guest stars and vocalists over the course of the night. With that much time to stretch out, you can expect the definitive Armin van Buuren journey, from warm and progressive opening hours to banging finish.
While the Dutch superstar has been confirmed to play Summafieldayze on the Gold Coast and Summadayze in Perth, this will be his only headline show in Australia – and it doesn’t come much more ‘headline’ than a nine-hour set.
