Techno fiends around the country are already bracing for Marcel Dettmann, who’ll bring his exacting sound to our clubs over one weekend in September. The Berlin mainstay will be taking a brief break from his residency at the fabled Berghain, where he continues to command the floor with long sessions of heavy-duty techno.

Away from the clubs, he’s ever active in the studio, with a debut album simply titled Dettman released this year on Ostgut Ton. It shows the man at the peak of his production talents; precise, powerful and uncompromising. These dates are a rare chance to see the icon at this end of the earth.
