While confirmed dates are yet to be locked down, Hybrid has confirmed on its website that an Australian club tour is happening very soon. Whether it will be both Mike Truman and Chris Healings packing their bags remains to be seen, but fans can look forward to their fix of symphonic house and breaks in October.

The duo expanded its ranks to three for most recent album Disappear Here, welcoming vocalist Charlotte James into the fold. After a three year break, the Hybrid live show was re-born with an ecstatic sunset slot at Glastonbury back in June (watch the video below of Finished Symphony to see how it went down).

While we might be waiting a bit longer to see that live set-up here again, a Hybrid DJ set is equally revered. There have been some legendary sets from the pair in our clubs, a point Truman noted when we spoke to him last month. “Every time we come down to Australia, no matter where we play, the crowd are just so friendly,” he enthused. “It’s an honour to come back every time, because we have never had a bad gig in Australia.”

Stay tuned to inthemix for confirmed Hybrid tour dates – and in the meantime, get excited with Finished Symphony at Glastonbury.
