Late last week, Good Vibrations circulated its annual line-up clues, and the enterprising minds on the inthemix and FasterLouder forums set to work on them. While the hints were typically obscure, the sleuthing of our forumers – and particularly FasterLouder contributor/brains trust brownie-II – seems very sound.
If the logic checks out, this is looking like a heavyweight Good Vibrations line-up. Enticing Erykah Badu to our shores would be a hefty achievement in itself, and she’d be in very fine company with dazzling soulstress Janelle Monáe, dubstep powerhouse Rusko and indie-pop hitmakers Phoenix.
Is this the first instalment of the Good Vibrations 2011 line-up? We’ll find out when the official announcement is made on Friday 10 September.
