Sydney and Melbourne can count themselves very lucky this summer, with some of the pioneers of Detroit techno playing here together under the D25 banner. Now the promoters of both legs have revealed where the parties are going down. In Melbourne, it all happens at regular techno haunt Brown Alley, while Sydney welcomes Carl Craig, Moodymann and Theo Parrish to the slick surrounds of The Forum.

Contrary to previous reports, Juan Atkins won’t be on the bill in Melbourne (he is, however, bringing Model 500 to Strawberry Fields Festival in November). The silver lining is the addition of Motor City orginal Kenny Larkin, whose last visit to these parts was back in 2006.
