In the midst of all the excitement surrounding the advent of summer, and with it a plethora of must-attend festivals, it’s sometimes easy to miss out on the small details. For instance, nary a peep was made when UK drum n bass legend Andy C popped up as a surprise addition to Adelaide’s Summadayze lineup. Since then we’ve been quietly waiting to see where else the big man would show up over summer and we might just have some good news for Sydney fans.

ITM has had our collective ears to the ground and we’ve been hearing some promising rumblings about Andy C’s schedule over the 2010/2011 summer and it looks as though he’s going to be a part of a massive Sydney event around the New Year’s party period.

According to our sources, Andy C will be one of the headliners of big, unnamed event, and he’ll be holding court at one of several arenas that’s dedicated to drum n bass. To make the drool flow a little faster, we’re told that fans can expect several other international D&B stars to follow Andy C on his trek down our way.

Sounds like something big for summer, no? Though that’s all we’ve got to go on at this stage, ITM will of course be hounding down any further news and rumour bits that follow. Stay tuned!
