Hip hop extraordinaire Pharoahe Monch is returning to Australia this November to showcase his new album W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). Last here for the Meredith Music Festival in 2009, Monch floored fans with his formidable live show, and this time around is guaranteed to be no different.

The tour not only coincides with the release of his third studio album (featuring production by Black Milk, Mr Porter, Lee Stone & M-Phazes ), but also marks the ten year anniversary of Pharoahe Monch’s seminal album Internal Affairs, which when re-issued later this year will include a documentary on the making of the album.

Supporting Monch come November will be the extraordinarily talented Jean Grae, who features on a number of W.A.R’s tracks and will be releasing her new album Cake Or Death in coming months through Talib Kweli’s record label Blacksmith.
