After putting in some festival-stealing performances earlier this year as a part of the Good Vibrations lineup UK noisemakers Chase & Status are poised for a big return over the Australian summer, revealing the first dribbles of information for the local shows online recently.

Having spent the year building their profile around the world and prepping the follow-up to 2008’s More Than Alot, the British duo will return to Australia at the height of the party season following a NYE date at the Rhythm & Vines festival in New Zealand, taking in DJ dates in Perth and a slot on Adelaide’s blossoming Summadayze lineup.

While those two Australian dates are all the duo have revealed for now, we’re hearing murmurs of more good news to come so stay tuned to ITM for more information on other dates as we get it.

Chase & Status January tour dates – more TBA:

1st January, 2011 – Summadayze Festival, Adelaide (DJ Set)
5th January, 2011 – Shape Bar, Perth (DJ Set)

UPDATE: Clever ITM forum dwellers have pointed out that the Chase & Status lads will be on the Origin NYE bill in Perth, so the above date is likely a goof from C&S’s management. We’ll have the official word once we hear it.
