Announced on the line-up for Victoria’s fabled Meredith Music Festival, DJ Harvey and DJ Garth will also find their way to some clubs in December. The tour is led by Sydney crew Picnic, and inthemix is proud to co-present the shows.

This is the first time Harvey has ever ventured to our shores, and he brings some serious dance music gravitas with him. Having fellow house icon Garth alongside only sweetens the deal.

As well as being revered for his prodigious DJ sets, Harvey also championed the art of the disco re-edit back in the day. His Black Cock edits alongside Gerry Rooney enjoy pride of place in house music lore. His many residencies, projects and career highs are too numerous to list, but what matters to us this summer is that he’s a true selector.

DJ Garth comes from a similar pedigree, leading his flagship label Grayhound Recordings to great acclaim through the ‘90s and beyond. Looming large on the US underground scene, he’s another ‘DJ’s DJ’. Together, these two are sure to deliver a house education.
