Last week, we heard all about how the Space Ibiza Festival in Sydney is going to be bigger and better-staged in 2011. Now the first round of names for the New Years Day blow-out has been revealed, and it’s just a primer for what’s to follow.

House fans can rejoice at the news that bona-fide legend François K is on the bill, bringing with him one of the most comprehensive DJ crates in dance music. Also leading the four-four charge are Sebastian Leger, Darren Emerson and Dave Seaman, all of whom should go down a storm in the open air. A highlight of 2010’s debut for many, Space Ibiza flag-bearer Camilo Franco will return to oversee it all.

As previously hinted at, The Forum will be transformed into a drum & bass love-in, headlined by reigning deck wizard Andy C and Hospital prodigy High Contrast. A second round announcement is also expected very soon, so stay tuned to inthemix for the news. Tickets go on sale Monday 1 November.
