While their absence from last week’s super-sized sideshows announcement for the 2011 Big Day Out had some ITMers concerned that Canadian electro riot squad Crystal Castles wouldn’t be doing any extra-curricular activities around the festival, at last we have the news that’ll heat up your summer another few degrees.
With a second self titled album now in their arsenal, producer Ethan Kath and vocalist Alice Glass will bring their notoriously brutal and unhinged live show to the east coast for two sideshows, treating punters in Melbourne and Sydney to an extra dose of madness. Bring on the 8-bit chaos!
