Indie-dance stalwarts Purple Sneakers DJs proved themselves to be much more than just indie kid puppet masters this year when they released their tightly packaged debut compilation, We Mix You Dance through Inertia and the Boundary Sounds label.

That compendium saw Purple Sneakers head honchos PhDJ, Ben Lucid and Joyride stitch together a tasty little adventure in genre-hopping mixing the likes of Miike Snow, Amanda Blank and Hot Chip with Caribou, Crookers and Animal Collective.

Now the PS crew have announced their plans for a brand new compilation, fittingly titled We Mix You Dance Volume 2 which will be out on stereos next year on January 7th.

While they’re yet to give away any details on the tracklist, the Purple Sneakers crew are previewing the style and sounds of the new record with a mini-mix up on Soundcloud now. Suss it out over here and check back here before January 7th for more info.
