With all the excitement surrounding the announcement and onsale of Future Music Festival it’s understandable you might have forgotten that headliners The Chemical Brothers have a run of sideshows scheduled for March, 2011.
Proudly supported by inthemix, the shows will see the Chems’ audio-visual spectacular touch down for arena sized shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Like that was tantalising enough, the full gang of supports acts have now been revealed, with local party-starters Art vs Science stepping up to the plate alongside BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and longtime Chems warm-up DJ James Holroyd.
By the time the tour rolls around Art vs Science will be riding high on the release of their debut album, which was preceded just this week by the unveiling of their newest single Finally See Our Way. The track sees the band taking a rather admirable new direction, illustrating a level of depth to their song-writing ability that many might have felt they weren’t capable of. You can see a teaser of the film clip below.
The Chemical Brothers supported by Art vs Science, Zane Lowe and James Holroyd:
Fri Mar 4 – Riverstage, Brisbane
Wed Mar 9 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Thu Mar 10 – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
