It’s not long now till Detroit comes to Sydney for the D25 tour, led by four true greats of electronic music. Brown Alley will host Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Kenny Larkin and Carl Craig, and it’s sure to be a momentous occasion.

Speaking to inthemix last week down the line from the Motor City, Carl Craig enthused about his touring companions for this leg of the worldwide tour. “Kenny [Dixon Jr., Moodymann] and Theo have been making incredible music for 15 years or so,” he said.

“Each one of them has their own flavour and style, but it’s like, the best in what they do. That along with what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years gives a nice variety and concept of where music comes from in Detroit.”

With extended sets from the headliners and some fine local talent including Adelaide legend HMC, this is looking better by the minute…
