With a double bill featuring dual electronic wonders Four Tet and Caribou, it’s no surprise that both acts’ joint summer tour has attracted some major attention since inthemix first announced it the other month. Now news is out that the Melbourne leg of the tour, taking in the The Hi-Fi on February 16th 2011, has sold out.
If you’ve missed out on tickets to that show due to overwhelming demand from local punters then we’ve got some very good news, as tour agents Feel Presents have announced an extra in Melbourne.
But here’s the catch: it’s on the same date. Yep, in an unprecedented move, Four Tet and Caribou will play a ‘Midnight Special’ set directly following their show that Wednesday night. That means once the first show finishes and the crowd leaves the whole shebang will start over again. What an epic night!
Tickets for the Midnight Special are on sale now through Oz Tix so we suggest getting on that pronto.
