After testing the waters down under last summer, Manchester duo Lamb returns in February 2011. Their enchanting live show is a natural fit for the mainstage at the Playground Weekender festival outside Sydney, but fans in Brisbane and Melbourne will also be treated to theatre dates. Once again, inthemix is proud to present Lamb live.

This visit is part of the year-long ‘5 World Tour’, which sees long-time musical allies Lou Rhodes and Andy Barlow spreading the word on forthcoming album 5. It comes eight years after its predecessor Between Darkness and Wonder, signalling a new chapter in the pair’s oeuvre of dreamy, introspective electronica.

As for Lamb’s on-stage chops, the 2009/2010 tour proved they still have something special. “Rhodes sang every note with the clarity of a golden bell, with a sound that was completely loyal to every [Lamb] album,” our Melbourne reviewer wrote. “Rest assured, not one soul was standing still at this gig.”
