How was your New Year’s break? If you’re anything like most of the country then there’s a very good chance you took the most of all the incredible events happening around the New Year’s period and got a mighty dose of dance music.

Yet seeing as though we were spoilt for choice once again this season it might not’ve been possible to catch all the action going down. If that was the case then don’t fret, we’ve got you covered!

Kicking us off before the arrival New Year’s Eve was none other than the Blah Blah Blah festival with Digitalism, Freestylers and more causing some trouble down by the water. Check out the gallery for that bash below.

As ever, New Year’s Eve itself was full of big parties with scores of dance fans getting out to ring in 2011 in style. And who could think of a better way to spend NYE than with a bangin’ club set from Dirtybird supremo Claude Von Stroke.

Still on big club events and you couldn’t go past the killer double-bill over at The Tivoli featuring beloved bass-innovators The Gaslamp Killer and Flying Lotus getting their weird on.

Capping it all of was none other than the massive Summafieldayze festival on the Gold Coast, once again bringing together the interstate festivals of Summadayze and Field Day to form an all-powerful mutant clone of the two and their biggest acts like Justice, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and N.E.R.D. Whew! Incredible stuff.

More juicy galleries will come in soon so stay tuned for some extra event coverage lovin’.
