Responding swiftly to the calls for support in flood-affected areas of Queensland, a roll-call of Australia’s dance music talent will stage Dance Aid in Melbourne. The event is proudly supported by inthemix, with all proceeds raised going to the victims of the floods.
As you can see from the list below, there’s no shortage of DJs who’ve offered their time to the party. “The dance music scene, much like its rock partner, needs to rally together; as combined we create a pretty compelling opportunity to raise funds,” says one of Dance Aid’s ringleaders Grant Smillie. “The support from our DJs has been nothing short of amazing with artists flying in at their own expense to take part in Dance AID.
“We’ve managed in less than 24 hours to pull together an amazing line-up that is still growing. I am looking forward to 19 January where we can hopefully raise upwards of $40,000 for victims of this tragedy.”
