How’s this for awesome tour news? One of the pioneering figures of electronic music, Gary Numan, will be back in Australia this May for five big shows around the country.
Following on from recent Auystralian visits from Public Enemy and *Primal Scream this month, the tour will see Numan perform his seminal The Pleasure Principle album in its entirety. The Pleasure Principle is of course one of the benchmarks for synth-pop, spawning the hit single Cars when it was first released in 1979.
As if that wasn’t awesome enough, Numan has roped in long dormant Sydney legends Severed Heads as support for all dates on the national tour (bar Perth). We don’t which is more exciting!
Gary Numan performing The Pleasure Principle tour dates:
Thursday 12th. Brisbane. Tivoli. 18+. w/ Severed Heads
Friday 13th. Sydney. Enmore Theatre. All ages. w/ Severed Heads
Saturday 14th. Melbourne. Forum. 18+. w/ Severed Heads
Monday 16th. Adelaide. HQ. 18+. w/ Severed Heads
Tuesday 17th. Perth. Astor Theatre. 18+.
