If your postcode sits somewhere in the four thousands you’ll be stoked to hear that Ewan Pearson will play to what will no doubt be a packed-out audience at Brisbane’s Bar Soma next month. The party is the work of local crew Auditree, who kicked off 2011 in fine style with Hamburg house hero Tensnake.
Last year saw Pearson man the boards for the debut LP from Manchester’s Delphic, an electronic delight that was a worthy inclusion to the ranks of inthemix’s top 50 albums of 2010. Having made an incredible impression on dance in recent years, Pearson’s resume is long and boasts production credits for The Rapture’s, Pieces of the People We Love, M83’s, Saturdays = Youth as well as a list of successful remixes for the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers and Junior Boys.
Pearson returns to Australia for the Playground Weekender festival at Wiseman’s Ferry and thus far this is his only outside appearance, so be sure to snap up a ticket pronto.
