This April, dubstep trailblazers Digital Mystikz will venture down under to put our sound-systems through their paces. The alliance of London underground figureheads Mala and Coki has spawned a long list of landmark remixes and productions, not to mention the DMZ club brand with Loefah. So who better to bring the sounds of DMZ to us than Digital Mystikz?
As dubstep heads will know, DMZ began to buzz in 2005, fostering the dubstep movement in sweaty basement clubs. Its reputation soon trebled, along with the standing of its three ringleaders. Mala and Coki are of course accomplished producers in their own right, making Digital Mystikz a fertile meeting of minds.
The first confirmed show of the tour is in Sydney, overseen by bastions of bass music Niche Productions and VOID. Taking over Oxford Art Factory, the DMZ party also calls on the sizeable talents of Mark Pritchard, Steve Spacek, Victim and Paul Fraser.
Stay tuned for more Digital Mystikz tour dates as they come to light.
