As we all know by now, the summer season becomes the peak season for dance music events in Australia with big club tours and festivals on order for punters to get into. February’s (almost) national festival tour is of course the Good Vibrations festival, and over the weekend the festival returned with shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

Up first was Sydney on Saturday and although the rain looked like holding out for just a mild, over-cast day, the heavens opened up later in the day to shower festival-goers for quite some time. That couldn’t dampen the spirit of the assembled masses as the ponchos came out and the dancing continued to festival guests like Kelis, Friendly Fires, Bag Raiders, Miike Snow, Erykah Badu and the mighty headliners Faithless.
