Looks like Australian oddballs Architecture In Helsinki are in for a big 2011 with a new album, Moment Bends out in April, and a brand new label home in Modular Recordings. They’re not stopping there though, today announcing a bunch of headline tour dates to go with their festival appearances with Groovin’ The Moo this May.
As well as the regional centres visited on the Groovin’ The Moo tour, Architecture In Helsinki will hit up Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth to show off Moment Bends and the album’s reportedly electro-fied direction. From the taste of first single Contact High it’s going to be filled with some terrifically bouncy synth pop. Check out the stream of that track below and find tour and festival dates too.

Sunday May 15 – The Capitol, Perth WA
Thursday May 26 – Hi-Fi Bar, Melbourne VIC
Friday May 27 – Hi-Fi Bar, Brisbane QLD

Architecure In Helsinki also play at NSW’s Playground Weekender festival this weekend and at Golden Plains in VIC.
