If you’re a follower of all things Ferry Corsten, you might have already seen the video below put together by Dutch-born, Australia-based DJ/producer MaRLo. When Corsten came to Sydney on his ‘Once Upon A Night’ tour a few weeks back, he bailed up MaRLo for a last-minute assignment.

“I was playing before Ferry in Sydney and as I finished and just before he went on stage, he asked me to remix Punk,” MaRLo tells inthemix, referring of course to one of Corsten’s defining anthems. “The catch was – he needed it done yesterday! I spent four days working around the clock on it and had it ready for him before his gig at the Palace in Melbourne.”

You’ll no doubt agree from the video that his handiwork went down a storm, with Corsten calling him on-stage to share the limelight. “To be asked on stage by Ferry Corsten while he is playing my new remix of one of his biggest tunes is something I will never forget,” says MaRLo.
