Since the Chemical Brothers standalone shows were announced way back in July last year, we’ve had plenty of days to ready ourselves for the return of the rave pioneers. Now it’s almost time to take the plunge. The Future Music Festival headliners bring their eye-popping new live set-up to Rod Laver Arena next Wednesday 9 March, and the running order of the night has now been revealed.
“It should be fun to bring our big psychedelic extravaganza to somewhere that’s as up for it as Australia always is,” one half of the Chems Tom Rowlands told inthemix.
In early 2011, the duo unveiled the latest incarnation of its show in Paris and Luxembourg, introducing a concave screen and more intense visuals. For a more in-depth run-down of what they’re packing, take a look at this preview from last month. It’s good to see we’re in for close to two hours of Chems madness!
