Having rebuilt his reputation as the Charlie Sheen of the electro community with last year’s comeback EP Younger & Immature, Modular synth tragic Muscles is set to release a brand new full length record in 2011 and he wants you to be a part of it. Interested?
As announced by the dude himself, Muscles has opened up his new record to fan input, allowing eager contributors to leave him a voicemail message on the Muscles Hotline. Once you’ve left your message Muscles will sample it on his new batch of material.
“It was last Thursday. I did a quick soundcheck with Dave S. at Manning Bar Sydney and came up with an idea for fans to call me during the concert and leave voice messages. In turn I would sample these into new songs I’m currently working on,” Muscles wrote on his tumblr. “I just offloaded the first batch of recordings, some funny, a lot of screaming, a few haters, and call from a lad in Amsterdam.”
At the man’s insistence you can call the Muscles Hotline on 0402 627 840 and “be silly, be original, sing something random, say something sexy” or just dish out all the pent up rage you’ve been holding in since Ice Cream first came out.
You could also give Muscles your message in person at one of the remaining dates of his university tour with label mates Bag Raiders.
