Helsinki-born, Berlin-based Kiki is a consummate reader of the dancefloor, and he’s heading to Australia in late March to show us how it’s done. In Sydney, the DJ is hosted by House Inspection and SPICE at the perfectly-suited Vault Hotel, before he continues on to Melbourne for a Sunday rooftop party.

Tech-house fans will know Kiki for his affiliation with Bpitch Control, the always-firing label presided over by Ellen Allien. In 2006 he was the first in line to mix an edition of Bpitch’s Boogybytes series, presenting an idiosyncratic tracklist that never loses its groove.

His two artist albums for the imprint, Run With Me and Kaiku, showcased a sophisticated touch in the studio, something he continues to finesse. His releases have also found an outlet on the likes of Moodmusic, Crosstown Rebels and Playhouse.

At home, Kiki is a regular fixture at Watergate, where his seductive, hypnotic house keeps the dancefloor buzzing till the wee hours. Expect a bit of that Berlin magic when he comes our way.
