Always on-point when he ventures down this way, Mark Farina returns for a club tour over the Easter long weekend in April. The Chicago legend has never slowed down on the tour circuit, keeping his unique brand of chunky, bumping house alive.

Together with Derrick Carter, Farina continues to represent the San Francisco sound around the world. His esteemed Mushroom Jazz series notched up its seventh edition in 2010, proving his tastemaker’s touch is still strong. Whether it’s a set of laidback R&B, hip hop and rare gems or a straight-up sweaty club session of jackin’ gear, Farina is a true DJ’s DJ.

In Melbourne, Farina is playing an intimate show at St. Kilda’s Pretty Please as part of the Deconstrukt party series, following previous guests like Stacey Pullen, Derrick Carter and DJ Sneak. According to his website, there are also stops in Sydney and Brisbane.
